Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU women's basketball team finished their three-game home stand tonight against Ozark Christian. The Bearcats bounced back from their loss on Saturday and controlled the game winning 91-51. That win moves them to 2-1 on the season.
"We were really focused on getting back to some basic principles, that we want to be about." Head Coach
Kelsey Keizer said, "Getting back in transition, which is something that really hurt us on Saturday, so we were trying to make big changes on that"

Leikyn Walker had a career day scoring 18 points off six field goals. Walker shot 60% from the field, pulling down four rebounds and dishing out two assists. All 15 players that touched the floor scored at least two points. The entire team also contributed on the boards dominated the Ambassadors 61 to 28 in rebounds. Claudia Vanzant and Tori Hamilton each had eight rebounds, with
Kelsey Blakemore and Kristin Edmonds each had seven.
"We have a really big roster this year and we think we have a lot of talent, top to bottom." Keizer said, "It's hard to get them all in there, to get all the minutes for all of them that deserve it and have been working hard. So, tonight was a good day to get a rotation and get moving through and get different people playing."
Southwest Baptist will be back in action Sunday, November 20
th as they head to Puerto Rico to take on PR-Mayaguez. That match will take place at 1:00 PM and then they will take on PR-Rio Piedras on Monday at 1:00 PM.
