Lebanon, Ill. – The SBU volleyball team took on the McKendree University Bearcats this afternoon in a Great Lakes Valley Conference matchup. Southwest Baptist fell 3-2 moving to 11-9 (3-4 GLVC) on the season.
 
The Bearcats lost the first two sets but battle right back winning the next two forcing a deciding 5^th set. They won those two sets by a combined score of 50-24. Junior Loran Pritchett led the team with 13 kills and Freshman Ella Rademaker had 12 kills. Bailey Lasater had another double-double recording 24 assists and 17 digs, leading the team in both categories.
 
The Bearcats will next participate in the Midwest Region Crossover next Friday and Saturday. Which is two-day tournament where all volleyball teams from the GLVC, GLIAC, and GMAC will come together to compete against teams of similar conference standings. The game times will be released on Monday.
