Bearcat Offense Puts Consistent Pressure on Hawks in Tie

Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU women's soccer team took on the Quincy Hawks this afternoon in a GLVC matchup. The Bearcats strong defense kept the game knotted at 0 giving them their 5th tie of the season. They move to 1-9-5 (0-7-4 GLVC) on the season.

SBU kept a continued offense pressure on the Hawks taking 24 shots and 12 shots on goal throughout the game. Sophomore Ashlynn Robinson led the team with seven total shots and five shots on goal for a career high. Six other Bearcats also contributed with shots on goal. Junior Ashlynn Edison had her third career shutout making a total of five saves.

The Bearcats will be back in action for Senior Day this Sunday, October 23rd. They will honor their two Seniors Lexi Lanzafame and Madeleine Gillman. Senior Day presentation is expected to begin at 11:45 AM.
