Bolivar, Mo- The SBU Women's Basketball team took on the Maryville Saints in Bolivar, Mo this afternoon. The Bearcats led almost the whole way and won by a final score of 58-55. That win moves the Bearcats to 11-9 (6-6 GLVC) on the season.

As a team the Bearcats went 19-49 from the field for 38.8% and 5-13 (38.5%) from the three-point line. The defense held the saints to 32% from the field and 29% from beyond the arc. Three Bearcats scored in double digit, two being
Nyah Pettus and
Mary Rose Foster, each with 10 points. Senior guard
Kyleigh Vaught led the Bearcats in points for the 10
th time this season; tonight she had 17. She also brought down 6 rebounds and dished out 6 assists

"My team trusts me and that puts a lot of trust in myself, that gives me confidence to see that my teammates have confidence in me and when I'm not hitting, I know that I can find them and they'll hit and tonight we played together, we had fun and it was really fun to play out there," said Vaught.
