Box Score St. Louis, Mo- The SBU Women's basketball traveled to University of Missouri St. Louis this evening to take on the Tritons. The Bearcats led in the first few minutes of the game but fell by a final score of 57-75. That loss moves the Bearcats to 11-10 (6-7 GLVC) on the season.
 
Senior Kyleigh Vaught led the way for the Bearcats with 23 points, along with 5 rebounds. Freshman Faith Gilkey was behind her with 9 points but led the team in rebounds with 7 and tagged along 1 assist. The team went 20-49 (40.8%) from the field and shot 4-12 (33.3%) from the three point line.

"Our intensity needs to improve moving into the game on Monday" said Head Coach Kelsey Keizer. "For our offense to be good we need defensive stops to transition into good scores. We will keep working to play at a higher level."
 
The Bearcats will be back in action on Monday where they take on McKendree University. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
