Liberty, Mo- The SBU Women's Basketball team traveled to William Jewell tonight for their sixth divisional matchup of the season. The Bearcats held the lead for most of the game and won by a final score of 61-54. That win put the Bearcats at 9-7 (4-4 GLVC), on the season.

Only two Bearcats posted in double digits this evening, and both were freshman.
Kelsey Blakemore had a career high 17 points along with six rebounds.
Faith Gilkey was one point shy of tying her career high tonight with 16 points and hit a big three in the final 18 seconds of the game to put the Bearcats up four.

The SBU Women's Basketball team will finish up divisional play this week with two more road games. First they will travel to Rolla, Missouri to take on Missouri S&T on Thursday, tip off scheduled for 5:30 PM. Then finish up the week in Springfield against Rival Drury.
