Springfield, Mo. – The SBU Men's Soccer team travled to Springfield Sunday afternoon to take on the Panthers of Drury University. SBU fell to the Drury by a score of 7-0, dropping their record is 0-6 (0-4 GLVG) for the season.
Within 7 minutes in the 1st half, Anthony Dalton took a shot, but it was no good. The Panthers scored three times to take a solid lead into the break. Loger Rodriguez took a shot, but it fell off to the left. Carlos Blandin Jr. also got a shot off, but it didn't find the back of the net either. The Panthers scored four more times to make the final score 7-0. Will VanHoornbeek had 5 saves and Tyler Frolik had 1 save for the Bearcats.
The Bearcats will be home for their next game, facing off against the Lindenwood Lions on October 1st at 7:30 PM.
