Rolla, Mo. - The SBU Men's Soccer team played against Missouri S&T Miners on the road Friday evening. The match was won by the Miners by a score of 3-0. This makes the Bearcats record 0-5 (0-3 GLVC) for the season.
The Bearcats had an opportunity to score when
Pierre Lurot took a shot low right, but it was saved by the goalie. Lurot hit another one low center, but the goalie was there to stop the ball. The Miners were able to score, making the score 1-0.
Pierre Barilly took a shot, but it was blocked. Not long after, Jonathan Prudenico hit one that was a bit too high. The Miners were able to tally two more goals in the 2nd half, making a final score of 3-0.
Will vanHoornbeek had 8 saves on the night.
The Bearcats will be just south of Bolivar for their next game, facing off against the Drury Panthers on September 26 at 2:30 PM.
