Quincy, Illi. -Southwest Baptist came out on the wrong end of a doubleheader with two 7-0 losses against the Quincy Hawks. This makes the Bearcats record 2-38 (1-25 GLVC) for the season.

Game One
The Hawks took an early lead in the first inning and the Bearcats couldn't mount a comeback and eventually fell 7-0.
Hallie Henderson got the start in the circle in the first game and threw all 6 innings while striking out 3 and only allowing 2 walks.
Game Two
Alyssa reed got the first Bearcats hit of the day in the second inning with a single to right center and got as far as third base but couldn't come around to score. Alissa Collete notched hits in the second and seventh inning to lead the Bearcats.
Renae Gillmore,
Izzy Harrison, and
Alyssa Reed all had one hit each as well.
Reilly Rupert got the start and struck out 4 in the game.
The Bearcats will finish up the season tomorrow May 2 when they travel to face Truman State for a doubleheader.
