Bolivar, Mo. – The regular season came to an end for the SBU Tennis teams on Sunday. Winning their 8^th match in a row, the SBU women's team downed the Quincy Hawks 6-1 to end with a 16-5 (6-0 GLVC) record.
 
Lola Cincunegui and Diana Cabrera began doubles play with a 6-2 win on court 3. The #19 doubles team in Dona Abohabaga and Constanca Crespo won their match with a 6-2 victory as well, and court 2 was won by Catarina Zheng and Elsa Pascual with an identical score.
 
Senior Constanca Crespo quickly dominated her opponent on court 3, winning all 12 games without dropping a single one. Another senior in Dona Abohabaga followed with a strong win as well, taking court 1 6-0, 6-3. The match was sealed with a 6-1, 6-1 victory by Diana Cabrera on court 2. Senior Catarina Zheng finished with a strong 6-1, 6-1 victory on court 4, and Elsa Pascual edged her opponent on court 5 by scores of 4-6, 6-4, 10-7. The Hawks picked up their lone point on court 6.
 
The GLVC Tournament will take place on Friday, April 30 through Sunday, May 2 in Romeoville, IL.
