Bearcats Win 7th Straight in 6-1 Win Over Truman State

Springfield, Mo. – Rain in the forecast pushed the women's tennis match against Truman State to the Cooper Tennis Complex Saturday afternoon. SBU took their 1-0 lead into singles play and ran away with the match. Constanca Crespo didn't surrender a single game in her 6-0, 6-0 win on court 3, and Diana Cabrera followed with a strong 6-1, 6-0 victory on court 2. The match was sealed with a 6-2, 6-3 Dona Abohabaga win on court 1. Catarina Zheng and Lola Cincunegui gave the Bearcats 6 points, winning 6-1, 6-0 on court 4 and 6-0, 6-2 on court 5.
