Evansville, Ind. – Southwest Baptist travelled to Evansville, Ind. to play against the Screaming Eagles of Southern Indiana and fell 5-0.
Southwest Baptist held strong in the first 20 minutes before allowing the first goal of the game. USI scored two more in the first half but
Ashlynn Edison finished with 3 saves in the first half. The Bearcats offense showed improvement in the second half with 8 shots and 4 being on goal but couldn't put one in the back of the net.
Lexi Lanzafame finished with 2 shots on goal and 4 shots total to pace the Bearcats.
Ashlynn Edison finished with 7 saves on 26 shots from the Screaming Eagles.
The Bearcats will travel to play #19 Indianapolis on March 28 in Indianapolis.
