Indianapolis, Ind. – Southwest Baptist faced off against the nationally ranked Greyhounds and came out just short in a 1-0 loss.
Indianapolis got a team goal in the 35
th minute of the game.
Ashlyn Gibbs kept the Bearcats within striking distance of the Greyhounds with 7 saves in the first half. Southwest Baptist had a corner kick in each half but couldn't capitalize on them.
Ashlyn Gibbs finished with 12 saves on the game which is good enough for 3
rd most saves in a game in Bearcat history.
Southwest Baptist will be back in action on April 1 when they play host to Lewis.
