Columbus, Ga. – Wrapping up their weekend out east, the SBU Men's Tennis team competed with #1 ranked Columbus State at their house. The Cougars defeated the Bearcats 4-0, dropping them to 7-8 on the season.
CSU dominated doubles play, defeating SBU by a combined score of 18-4. In singles play,
Max Sanoja fought hard against his opponent on court 5, but fell 6-4, 6-0.
David Szeri and
Alvaro Nunez also battled against their opponents, but couldn't come out on top, ending in a 4-0 final score.
The team returns home for their next competition, taking on Harding University on Friday, March 26 at 2:00 PM.
