St. Louis, Mo. – Southwest Baptist faced off against the 5
th ranked team in the nation in the Maryville Saints. The Bearcats dropped the contest 6-0 which pushes their record to 1-2-1 for the season.
Maryville scored quickly in the first minute of the match to take a 1-0 lead.
Kevin Zavala had a shot on goal later in the first half for the Bearcats.
Will vanHoornbeek had a save in the first half and followed it up with two more in the second half before being replaced by
Tyler Frolik who had 2 saves as well.
SBU will be back in action on March 14 when they travel to Lindenwood.
