Kansas City, Mo. – Southwest Baptist utilized the solid defense to pull out a 1-1 tie with the Rockhurst Hawks.
Rockhurst started with the ball in the match and drew a foul within the first 3 minutes that rewarded a yellow card to
Race Roberts. The Hawks preceded to score in the 27
th minute to take a 1-0 lead into halftime.
Francisco Gonzalez received a pass from
Jonathan Prudencio that found the back of the net to tie it up at the 86
th minute mark and force an overtime. The Hawks outshot the Bearcats 4-2 in both overtimes but
Will vanHoornbeek kept the score tied in the goal to finish the game in a tie 1-1.

Francisco Gonzalez finished the game with 2 shots and one ending up in the net.
Jonathan Prudencio helped to assist the goal made by Gonzalez in the late minutes of the game.

Southwest Baptist will be back in action on March 5 at 8:30 PM at home against Drury Univeristy.
