Sydney Bandy got the first points in the game with a quick layup just 5 seconds after the tip. A Greyhound miss would lead to a layup from
Mary Rose Foster to make it 4-0.
Nyah Pettus would split a pair of free throws to take back a 7-6 for the Bearcats.
Mary Rose Foster would make another 3-pointer in the second quarter to spark a 9-2 run and cut the deficit down to just 3. Southwest Baptist would outscore Indianapolis in the fourth quarter 23-18 on 55% shooting.
Brylee Graddy came off the bench to lead the Bearcats in scoring with 13 points on 5-8 shooting from the field.
Sydney Bandy also added 12 points and 5 rebounds.
