Lebanon, III.- The SBU Men's Soccer team took on the Bearcats from McKendree University Friday evening. Southwest Baptist fell to McKendree by the score of 3-1; which makes Southwest Baptist's record 0-9 (0-7 GLVC) for the season.
Within 30 seconds of the game, SBU made the first goal with Isaiah Waddy taking the shot and assisted by Pierre Barilly. Waddy took another shot in the bottom center of the goal, but it was saved. As the match continued, SBU kept attacking, but couldn't find the back of the net. Noah Weiler hit the ball, but missed the net. In the 2nd half, McKendree made two goals to take the lead. Waddy hit the ball in the bottom left of the goal, but the goalie was there to save the ball. Late in the 2nd half, McKendree scored another goal to make the score 3-1. Will vanHoornbeek collected 4 saves for Southwest Baptist.
Southwest Baptist will remain on the road to take on Missouri-St. Louis at 2:30 PM Sunday afternoon.
