Bolivar Mo. - The SBU Men's Soccer team played against the Maryville Saints Sunday afternoon. The Bearcats fell short in overtime against the Saints with the score 1-0. This makes the Bearcats record 0-8 (0-6 GLVC).

Jose Mencos took a shot low center, but the goalie was there to save it. The Saints followed with a few shots of their own, but Will vanHoornbeek was there to make the saves. In the 2nd half, Joshua Gerdiman fired a shot low left, but it was saved. Despite the opportunities, neither team was able to score in regulation. The match had to go to overtime where the Saints scored the game winning goal to win the game by a score of 1-0. In goal, vanHoornbeek had 5 saves for the Bearcats.

The Bearcats will hit the road next to face the McKendree Bearcats on October 8th at 7:30 PM.
