St. Charles, Mo. – Southwest Baptist couldn't pull off the comeback against Lindenwood and eventually fell 63-74. This pushes the Bearcats record to 4-9 (4-9GLVC) for the season.
Lindenwood came out of the gate hot and slowed down in the fourth when the Bearcats went on an 8-0 run to start the fourth. Back-to-back three pointers by
Sydney Bandy and
Kyleigh Vaught at the 2:37 mark cut into the lead. The Bearcats had a couple buckets late to cut into the deficit, but they would eventually fall 63-74.
Rachel Tippens led the Bearcats with 14 points and 7 rebounds. Syndey Bandy followed up Tippens with 5 rebounds herself.
Regan Tibbits (11) and
Sydney Bandy (10) helped towards the comeback. Tippens also led the Bearcats in assists with 4 in the game.
