Bolivar, Mo. – Southwest Baptist started a little slow early but came back in bunches to secure the overtime win over Missouri S&T 92-86. This pushes the Bearcats record to 2-8 (2-8 GLVC) for the season.
Sydney Bandy got the scoring started for the Bearcats with a quick layup in the first possession of the game. SBU would keep it close for most of the first quarter but a run by the Miners at the end would give S&T a 7-point lead after the first quarter.
Natalie Basham came off the bench in the second quarter and went off for 8 points, 2 rebounds, and a steal to come back and tie the Miners going into halftime. The second half would be back and forth with the Bearcats finding themselves down 3 with 58 seconds remaining.
Kyleigh Vaught would make the final shot of regulation with 47 seconds remaining to tie it back up and force overtime.
Missouri S&T would strike first in OT, but the Bearcats came back strong to outscore the Miners 14-8 in the extra frame for a 6-point victory. The Bearcats finished with

Natalie Basham came off the bench to go 3-3 from the field including 2-2 from beyond the arc for a career high 9 points.
