Tulsa, Okla. – The SBU Men's Tennis team fell to Southern Arkansas Saturday afternoon 1-4, dropping to 1-2 on the season.
David Szeri and
Alvaro Nunez dominated on court 3 in doubles play, defeating their opponents 6-0. Southern Arkansas came back and won on courts 1 and 2, taking the doubles point.
The Muleriders picked up their second point on court 4 to take a 2-0 lead.
Adham Gaber then picked up SBU's only point of the day on court 1, winning 4-6, 6-0, 7-5. Southern Arkansas finished up the match with wins on courts 2 and 3, claiming the match 4-1.
The next competition for the men's team will be on March 6, as the Bearcats compete against Colorado State University – Pueblo and Metropolitan State University of Denver.
