Bolivar, Mo. – Southwest Baptist played Northwest Missouri State for the final non-conference game of the season. SBU jumped out to an early 3 goal lead and didn't look back. This win makes the Bearcats 1-0-1 for the season.

Lexi Lanzafame got the game going by scoring a goal just four minutes after the kickoff. She added her second goal of the day just after to make it 2-0 in favor of the Bearcats. Raegan Edwards scored to make it 3-0 just before Northwest Missouri scored two goals just before half. Sheena Nichol scored a goal early in the second half, followed by Raegan Edwards knocking her second goal of the day in to make the final 5-2.

The Bearcats will be back in action on September 15 at home against Drury. Be sure and come out and support the Bearcats at their first home conference game!
