Bearcats Battle Jets to a Draw

Bolivar, Mo. – The Bearcats hosted Newman University in their first game of the season. The game ended in a 0-0 draw after 2 overtimes.
 
Raegan Edwards led SBU with 3 total shots and one shot on goal. SBU had a few opportunities early in the second half but were unable to cash in. Ashlyn Gibbs had 1 save on 17 shots by Newman. The one save was on a Jets breakaway late in the first half.
 
The Bearcats will be back in action on Sunday September 8 at 2:00 PM at the SBU grass soccer field.
