Altamonte Springs, Fla. - SBU Men's Tennis took down the Concordia Clippers in the first round in the NCAA DII Nationals and will advance to the Elite Eight.

In Doubles, Raul Caballero and Max Sanoja won on court number #2 6-2, making the Bearcats one point away from clinching the doubles point. Adham Gaber and Gyorgy Agoston clinched the doubles point by winning on court #1 6-2. David Szeri and Carlos Corser did not finish since SBU had already won the doubles point.

In singles, the number 9 nationally ranked Adham Gaber added another point by beating his opponent on court #1 in two straight sets 6-1, 6-1. David Szeri captured his singles point by winning on court #4 in two straight sets 6-3, 6-0 and making the Bearcats one point away from winning this competition. The Clippers won their lonely point on court #5 6-0, 7-5. Raul Caballero clinched his match and gave SBU the victory by beating his opponent in two straight sets 6-2, 7-6.
