Durant, Okla. – The Bearcats wrapped up their regular season at Durant, OK taking on Southeastern Oklahoma State University. SBU controlled the match handily, defeating the Savage Storm 5-2 to finish with a 15-2 record on the season.
 
SBU jumped ahead with a 1-0 lead after winning all three doubles matches. David Szeri and Carlos Corser were the first ones done, taking a 6-2 victory on court #3. The twins team consisting of Gyorgy Agoston and Ferenc Agoston gave SBU the doubles point with a win on court #2, 6-2. Adham Gaber and Raul Caballero finished doubles play with a victory as well, winning 7-5 on court #1.
 
The Savage Storm evened the score at 1-1 after winning on court #1, but Gyorgy Agoston gave SBU the lead once again, winning in three sets on court #2. Again, SEOSU tied the score, claiming a victory on court #2 as well. The Bearcats would not lose again, claiming a 5-2 win. David Szeri made the score 3-2 after winning 6-3, 7-6 on court #4. Ferenc Agoston won the match claiming point on court #6, defeating his opponent 6-3, 6-1. Carlos Corser added an insurance point on court #5 with his 6-4, 6-2 victory.
 
The next competition for SBU will be the MIAA Conference Tournament. The men's team sealed the #1 spot and will take on #4 seeded Emporia State on Saturday, April 27 at 9 AM in Oklahoma City. There will be live stats and a live stream for the tournament, the link will be posted on the schedule.
