Evansville, Ind. – The SBU Volleyball team traveled to Southern Indiana to face the Screaming Eagles in more conference play. USI won in three sets, moving SBU's record to 2-14 (0-4 GLVC).
Southern Indiana won the first set 25-19, the second set 25-17, and the third 25-11. SBU struck first in the first set, but fell behind in the other two sets.
Rebecca Rabius and
Delanie Tipton each contributed 8 kills in the match, leading the team.
Makenzie Bouse collected another 21 assists and Kylie Talbot led the Bearcats in digs with 11.
SBU has a different week ahead, taking on Drury, Rockhurst, and William Jewell on Tuesday the 8
th, Thursday the 10
th, and Saturday the 12
th respectively. The first two games of the week will be played at home with the last game on the road.
