Bolivar, Mo. – Southwest Baptist fell just short in a home game against Southern Indiana with a final score of 3-1. This loss pushes their record to 1-7 (1-5 GLVC) for the season.
Southern Indiana got on the board first with a goal at the 15 minute mark but SBU responded just before half.
Isaiah Waddy scored a goal in the 39
th minute off of
Javier Munoz's pass. That goal was Waddy's 4
th goal of the year.
Owen Luscombe contributed four saves to the effort as well.
The Bearcats will be back in action on Sunday at 2:30 at Plaster Stadium against McKendree University.
