Southwest Baptist University Athletics

Mike Wolhoy is entering his 17th year (2021-22) as the Head Athletic Trainer at Southwest Baptist University.  Mike works primarily with the Football team, but also helps with the Cross Country, Track & Field, and Tennis teams.  Wolhoy is also a teacher and preceptor in the CAATE accredited Athletic Training program at SBU. 
 
Prior to coming to SBU, he worked at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan and at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.  He worked with the baseball and football programs at those schools.
 
Wolhoy graduated with an Associate of Arts degree from Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, Iowa in 2000.  He would then go on and graduate from Graceland University in southern Iowa in 2002 with Bachelor of Science in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation with an emphasis in Athletic Training.  Wolhoy played football and baseball for the Yellow Jackets, earning two varsity letters in each sport.  After attending Graceland, he earned his Master of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
 
Mike currently resides in Bolivar, Missouri with his wife Crystal and two children Knox and Cydny.
