Mudd joins the SBU Cross Country and Track & Field coaching squad for his first year (2019-20) as a graduate assistant. He will work primarily with the athletes competing in the hurdles and pole vault.
Mudd recently graduated from Saginaw Valley State where he received a degree in Business Management. While there, Mudd competed as an athlete for SVSU. He currently holds the school record for the Heptathlon and he received All-American honors in the event twice. In the decathlon, Mudd was named 1st Team All-American once and 2nd Team All-American once as well. In addition to these major accomplishments, Mudd was a two time GLIAC Champion. Â
Mudd is originally from Auburn, MI and is working on a master's degree in Athletic/Activity Administration.
