Bonnie Durrett joins the Bearcats bench for her first season (2020-21) after four years in Xenia, Ohio as the Director of Team Engagement with Athletes in Action (AIA) Women’s Basketball. Some of Durrett’s duties at AIA included recruitment of players for international basketball tours, development of team building seminars for NCAA basketball teams, and digital marketing for AIA Women’s Basketball.

Bonnie is a native of Paducah, Kentucky and began her college basketball playing career at NJCAA Jefferson College in Hillsboro, Missouri. After one season, Durrett transferred to NCAA Division II King University in Bristol, Tennessee and was a named Female Scholar Athlete of the Year and Academic All-Conference while competing for the Tornado.

Bonnie will pursue a Master’s Degree in Athletic/Activity Administration at Southwest Baptist University.
