Southwest Baptist University Athletics

Dalton Kelley is entering his second season as head coach of the softball Bearcats. Kelley is a former Bearcat as he played basketball and baseball for the university. Kelley was a member of the basketball program from 2010-2011 before joining the baseball from 2011-2014.

Kelley is a native of Bolivar, MO where he graduated from Bolivar High School. Kelley received his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice in 2014. Kelley then joined the Bearcat baseball coaching staff in 2015 as a graduate assistant earning his Master's degree in Education with a focus in Athletic/Activities Administration. Kelley has coached at multiple area high schools. Most recently working at Spokane High School as the Athletic Director and head baseball coach. 

In his first season (2018-2019) as head coach, Kelley led the Bearcats to an 8-47 record finishing the season with four wins in conference play.
