ABOUT THE 2012 SBU FOOTBALL GOLF SCRAMBLE:
The Bearcat football staff would like to invite you to our fifth annual SBU Football Golf Outing. The purpose of the outing is to give members of the community and Alumni a chance to interact with the Bearcat Football Program while raising money for the football program.
The day will begin on Saturday April 21, 2012 at 8:00am on the Silo Ridge Golf Course. The cost for participating in the outing will be $75.00 per person. The fee includes a gift package, breakfast, green fee, cart, and lunch after the tournament has ended.

ABOUT THE 2010 GOLF OUTING:
Last year, sixteen teams participated in the 3rd Annual SBU Football Golf Outing and had a blast, despite the rain of the April event. The event raised over $9,000 for the football program. There were two flights and many great prizes. The purple ball winning team received a $200 gift certificate to Red Lobster, and the Flight winners received SBU helmets and food coupons.
"This year we decided to move the golf scramble to late July, to ensure we would have great weather, an opportunity for a bigger turn out and it's closer to football season. I do not play golf very much, but this is a day that I enjoy and look forward to because I get to be around the people who help make the SBU Football program a better program," says Head Football Coach Keith Allen.
