TEAM CONTACT EVENING CAMP:
Full Team Contact Oriented Evening Camp:
High Schools will compete against other area schools in this competition. All team settings will be filmed for the coaches
Format:
Each Team will compete with other area schools in:
-
Full Scrimmages
-
Situational Scrimmages (3rd & 10, 3rd & 2, 4th & 1, Goal line, etc)
-
7 on 7: Pass Skel
-
9 on 9: Inside Run
-
1 on 1: Passing and OL/DL
-
Teams should provide their own equipment (shoes, jerseys, medical, etc.).
Cost: $40 per student athlete
TEAM CONTACT CAMP:
Full Team Contact Oriented 3-Day Camp:
High Schools coaches bring their players and stay on the SBU campus for 2 nights. Campers are housed in campus dormitories under the supervision of the Camp Staff. Two or three campers will be in each dorm room. Campers will be served 3 all-you-can-eat style meals a day in the campus dining hall. Campers will also have access to the camp store to purchase snacks and souvenirs. Awards are presented at the end of camp. Parents are encouraged to attend the ceremony.
Camp Activities/Format:
Each camp day includes the following:

Individual position drills directed by the SBU coaching staff

Individual Team Periods where each high school will have time to install offensive/defensive schemes with their own team

7 on 7 Passing Perimeter Competition against other schools (filmed)
-
1 on 1 OL/DL Competition
-
Team Goal Line Challenges (filmed)
-
Controlled Full-Contact Scrimmages against other schools (filmed)
-
Film sessions of filmed practices with SBU and HS coaches
Cost:
-
If deposit in before May 1st: $125 per camper

Otherwise: $150 per camper
Note: The $200 deposit must be received by the SBU office to assure reservation. The depsoit deadline is June 1.
What To Bring:
Each camper should bring his/her own bed linens, pillow, etc. Campers should
also bring extra spending money for the camp store if desired. Teams should bring
their own athletic/medical tape and bandages for wrapping knees, ankles, etc. The Camp is prohibited from furnishing any football equipment and/or athletic training materials.
Junior Varsity / Freshmen Teams:
Teams are encouraged to bring any underclassmen to the camp. There will be a separate bracket of the camp where junior varsity teams will compete against each other.
Bearcat Jamboree:
The Jamboree is a double-elimination tournament where all teams compete for the championship crown.
Teams are seeded based on win/loss record in scrimmages and coaches’ votes.

TOP PROSPECT COMBINE
The Southwest Baptist University Football staff will give personal instruction on individual techniques and fundamentals. This camp is available to any student athlete that is entering 11th grade through 12th grade. Grades 11-12.
