Joplin, Mo. – The SBU men's cross-country team competed at the Southern Stampede Saturday morning taking 12^th place overall.
 
Freshman Alex Flannery led the team with a 60^th place finish running 26:07.55 in the 8k. He was followed by senior Nathan Keck in 88^th place. Landen Jones came in 100^th, Kaleb Nail in 110^th, and Connor Goatley rounded out the scoring with a 173^rd place finish.
 
The Bearcats will return in less than a week as they run at the Gans Creek Classic in Columbia, Missouri on Friday, September 25^th.
