Emporia, Kan. – SBU women's track and field competed in two more events Friday evening at the NCAA Division II Championships.
Stephanique Dean ran in the 200-meter preliminaries and soon joined her teammates for the 4x400-meter relay.
Dean continued her extraordinary season with a strong race in the 200-meter dash, qualifying for the finals. After taking second in her heat with a time of 23.42, she enters the finals with the 5
th fastest time but only .09 seconds away from 2
nd place. Dean will look to end her season on a high note on Saturday at 6:20 p.m.

Madison Davis, and
Brianna Lord in the 4x400-meter relay. Despite running a strong time at the meet, the Bearcats were unable to qualify for the finals.
After waiting two days, Saturday will the time for the Bearcat Javelin throwers to come into action. Freshman
Alexis Turner and junior
Savannah Manthey will begin their Nationals shortly after 3 p.m. as they are both in the second flight.
