The Bearcats (17-23) are looking to keep the momentum going after winning two of three during their series with Newman University. SBU will also look to keep the bats hot. They currently have six hitters with an average over .300, something they can use going into this series against the Cardinals. The Cardinals are currently at the bottom of the GLVC in batting with a team average of .257. SBU on the other hand is eighth in the GLVC in batting with a team average of .306. The series played at Talley Stadium will start Friday, April 24th at 6 p.m. On Saturday, April 25th there will be a double-header with the first game at 1 p.m., with the second game starting around 3:30 p.m. The series finale will be Sunday, April 26th at 1 p.m.

Tennis
  • SBU Men's Tennis vs Drury University — Saturday, April 25 at 12 p.m.
  • SBU Women's Tennis vs Drury University — Saturday, April 25 at 12 p.m.

SBU's men's and women's tennis teams prepare for their last matches of the season this weekend when they play against Drury University at home at the John A. Bryant Tennis Center. The women's team, sitting at 4-11 for the season, has won three of the four GLVC matches they've played so far and hope to secure one final victory this weekend in their last conference match. A win and they are in the GLVC tournament for the 6th consecutive year. After a big weekend of back-to-back GLVC wins, SBU men's tennis has a 2-1 record with a solid chance of returning to the conference tournament. With either beating the Panthers or Quincy defeating Rockhurst, SBU will return to the GLVC tournament. Having won three of their four home matches, the men's team aims to secure a final regular season win for the season on their home court this weekend.

Softball
  • SBU vs Rockhurst University — Saturday, April 25 at 12 p.m.
  • SBU vs Rockhurst University — Saturday, April 25 at 2 p.m.

The Lady Bearcats will enjoy an extra day of rest this week as they play only one doubleheader against the Rockhurst University Hawks in Kansas City, MO. on Saturday, April 25. The Hawks look to be a difficult opponent as they are currently 25-16 on the season and on a seven game winning streak including a victory over #17 McKendree University. However, SBU holds an away record of 6-4 and will hope to keep their winning road record intact. The first pitch is scheduled for 12 p.m. with the second game to follow at 2 p.m.
