Bolivar, Mo. – SBU women's tennis had their three-game win streak come to a close Saturday afternoon as they fell to the Rockhurst Hawks 1-6. That moves their record to 4-11 (3-1 GLVC) on the season.
The first point of the day went over to the Hawks as they won at all three spots for the doubles point. That momentum carried over into the singles points as they won five of the six singles points, with all the wins being two sets. SBU's sole single point came from the #2 spot by
Defne Ursan. She won that game in two sets 7-5, 7-5.
SBU will have one more regular season game before competing in the conference tournament. Their final game will be on Saturday, April 25
th against Drury University in Bolivar, Missouri.
