Baseball

The Bearcats recently split a series with one of the top teams in the conference and will look to bring that momentum into a non-conference series this weekend.
Beach Volleyball
SBU's beach volleyball team closes out their season this weekend at the AVCA Small Collegiate Championships in Gulf Shores, Ala. The AVCA Championships will host 37 collegiate teams from across the country and hold over 500 matches over the course of the weekend. The Bearcats will compete in a guaranteed four games starting on Friday, April 17 at 8:00 a.m and and Saturday, April 18th. Full schedule for the games can be found here:

Tennis
This weekend, SBUs' men's and women's tennis teams face off against William Jewell College and Rockhurst University in two GLVC games. While the Bearcats fell to both teams in the fall, they've historically dominated over both William Jewell and Rockhurst. The women's team is coming off a 2-0 weekend while the men fell in their sole conference match. The Bearcats kick off their second weekend of GLVC matches when they compete against William Jewell on Friday, April 17. Matches against Rockhurst will follow on Saturday, April 18. Both days of competition will be in Bolivar, Mo. at the John A. Bryant Tennis Center.
Men's Volleyball
SBU men's volleyball finishes up their season this weekend at home as they face conference opponent Quincy University. While SBU's current conference record is sub .500 the team carries the momentum of a win streak, as well as a 5-4 home record which could help bring home a victory. If SBU wins against Quincy this weekend, they can move up to a fifth-place ranking in the conference. The teams will face off in the Meyer Wellness center this Friday, April 17 at 6 p.m with a second match to follow on Saturday, April 18 at 2 p.m. The Bearcats currently hold an 11-10 season record and have a chance to finish out their inaugural season with a positive .500 record.
Track & Field
SBU's men's and women's track and field teams travel to two different places this weekend, one far and one near. The distance runners head to California for the Bryan Clay Invitational while everyone else heads to Springfield for the MO State Invitational. This weekend's meets are the last chance for the Bearcats to secure national marks before the GLVC Championships at the end of April.
Softball
SBU softball gears up for their final home weekend with double headers on both Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19. First, the Bearcats face the Bulldogs of Truman State University (TSU). TSU currently sits in 12th in the GLVC with a record of 14-26 overall and 6-10 in the conference. The first pitch is set to be thrown at noon on Saturday with the second game to follow the conclusion of the first game. On Sunday, SBU will play the William Jewell Cardinals. William Jewell is one spot above the Bulldogs in the conference with a GLVC record of 7-9. Games on Sunday are set to begin at noon and 2:00 p.m.
