Warrensburg, Mo. — Southwest Baptist University's men's track and field team traveled to Warrensburg to compete in the 2026 Mule Relays at the University of Central Missouri on April 9th and 10th. The Bearcats placed in the top-five in the long jump, 5000-meter run invite, triple jump, and 3000-meter steeplechase open.
On Thursday, April 9,
Andrew Jacobs placed second in long jump at a distance of 7.54 meters.
Fisher Love was right behind Jacobs in fourth with a jump of 7.17 meters. Later that day, the Duchscherer brothers earned fifth and sixth in the 5000-meter run invite.
Gavin Duchscherer placed fifth with a time of 14:55.41, and
Landon Duchscherer placed sixth with a time of 15:00.48.
On Friday, April 10, Jacobs once again earned a top spot with a 13.27-meter triple jump, securing him a fifth place finish.
Nathan Keck wrapped up the meet for the Bearcats, earning a fourth place finish in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:57.60.
