3/8/2026 8:25:00 PM

Box Score 1 Richardson, Tx. – The SBU women's tennis team competed in a series of three games this weekend against teams from three different States. The Bearcats fell in all three of the games moving to 1-9 on the season.

Game 1 on Friday vs Texas Permian Basin: Loss, 1-4
The match started with some tough battles in the doubles spot as Maria Clara Zotti and Sammi Liu won in the #2 doubles spot 7-5, but SBU fell in the other two dropping the doubles point. Clara Zotti brought that momentum into singles winning at the #3 spot 6-3, 6-1 winning the sole point for SBU. Liu and Defne Ursan did not complete their match at the #1 and #2 spot.

Game 2 on Saturday vs Arkansas Tech: Loss, 1-4
