Lebanon, IL – The SBU beach volleyball team completed their fourth weekend of play Saturday against conference rival, McKendree University. SBU lost 1-4, moving their record to 3-10.
 
The solo win of the weekend came to pair #3 Reagan Hoerning and Abbey Garner, sweeping their match in two sets: 21-11, 21-18. The other four duos battled hard, but were not able to carry out a win against McKendree. The closest match was completed by #4 Rory Stanley and Sara Younkin with a score of 18-21, 19-21. #1 Fanning/Cox, #2 Keller/Perez, and #5 Kaminski/Chance also lost in two sets each with scores of 19-21, 12-21; 15-21, 10-21; and 15-21, 19-21 respectively. 
 
The Bearcats will travel down to Texas to take on three different teams this coming week. They will compete on Wednesday, April 1st in a rematch against University of Mary Hardin-Baylor at 10:00 AM followed by Concordia University Texas at 2:00 and 6:00 PM. SBU will conclude on Thursday against Texas A&M - Texarkana at 8:00 AM.
