Bolivar, Mo. — After hitting the road last week, Southwest Baptist University (SBU) women's basketball will be on home court for their final two games of the season, taking on Maryville and McKendree University.
 
On February 19, the Bearcats went up against Drury University. SBU fought hard, but fell 81-93. Two days later on February 21, the team in purple was able to claim victory over Missouri S&T by a tight score of 73-70.
 
This week, SBU will face off against Maryville University. The Bearcats have a tough battle ahead of them as Maryville is one of the top teams in the GLVC.They currently sit in 3rd holding a 21-6 overall record and a 15-4 GLVC record. The game takes place on Thursday, February 26 at 5:30 p.m. from the Meyer Sports Center.
 
Later this week, SBU will hold senior day as they take on McKendree University for the second time this season. The first game went the way of McKendree as they are another top team in the GLVC with a 13-5 conference record. The game will tip off on Saturday, February 28 at 1:00 p.m. as the seniors are celebrated for their final game as a Bearcat.
