Bolivar, Mo. – This weeks' Grand Missouri Bank Athlete of the Week belongs to freshman Clara Cunningham from the women's swim team. She helped lead the Bearcats to their first every dual meet win this past weekend against Iowa Western and Barton College.

Cunningham continued her impressive season by once again sweeping the backstroke events, winning the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke events. She also was a big contributor in the relay events. Cunningham was a member of the 200-yard medley relay team that took 2^nd place and part of the 400-yard freestyle relay team that took 3^rd place.

Cunningham and the rest of the swim program will now get to make SBU history in hosting the first ever collegiate swim meet this Friday in the Meyer Wellness Center. They will compete against Ouachita Baptist at 3 p.m.
