Springfield, Mo. – The SBU men's swim team returned to the pool one last time before conference Wednesday evening as they competed against Drury University.
 
It was a great opportunity for the Bearcats to get some strong competitive practice against one of the top Division II teams in the Nation. Logan Meixner took advantage of this with a great mark of 50-yard free taking 2^nd place out of 15. He dropped time in his race and defeated numerous Panther swimmers en route to this top mark.

Two other Bearcats were able to improve throughout the meet by dropping times from their entry mark. In the same event as Meixner, John Sorah dropped time from his entry point. Later in the meet, Tyler Sharp dropped time in the 500-yard free.

Now the SBU men's swim team will take a couple weeks of last practice before they finish their inaugural season. Their final meet of the season will be in Evansville, Indiana at the GLVC Championships on Tuesday, February 10^th.
