Pittsburg, KS. - The SBU women's track team ended the Rumble in the Jungle meet Friday with 34.50 points in total landing them in 5th place. 
 
Senior Stephanique Dean highlighted the meet with a second place finish in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.61 seconds. In the preliminaries, she ran a time of 7.58 seconds, which gave her a National mark but not better than her previous time of 7.51. While, graduate student Lily Simmons secured 3rd in the high jump. She hit a mark of 1.63m, which added 5.5 points to the team. 
 
Distance runner Gracie Troester placed 4th in the one mile run with a time of 5:09 minutes. Laura Dixon, Brianna Lord, Emily Young, and Sierra Wallace worked together in the 4x400 relay as they ran a time of 3:50.62 to land a spot in 4th place.
