BOLIVAR, Mo. — Southwest Baptist men's basketball dropped a hard-fought GLVC contest Thursday night, falling 78–71 to the University of Indianapolis (UIndy) after the Greyhounds erased a double-digit halftime deficit inside the Meyer Sports Center.
The Bearcats opened the game playing with confidence on the offensive end, keeping pace early before taking control midway through the first half.

Jevin Sullivan provided a spark all over the court, knocking down shots and helping extend the lead as the Bearcats began to separate.

Leo Gayman, who earned a starting spot on the night. The Bearcats shot over 50 percent from the field in the opening half and went into the locker room with a 44–34 advantage.
UIndy responded coming out of halftime, using pressure defense and transition opportunities to slowly cut into the deficit. The Bearcats continued to battle but struggled to find consistency offensively as the Greyhounds chipped away throughout the second half.
The momentum ultimately shifted late, as UIndy took its first lead of the half with just over two minutes remaining. The Greyhounds closed the game at the free-throw line, outscoring Southwest Baptist 44–27 after the break to complete the comeback.
