Bolivar, Mo– SBU Men's Soccer looks to keep the momentum rolling after a big 2-1 victory over the University of Illinois Springfield on Sunday, September 28. The win gave the Bearcats a boost in confidence as they continue through a tough stretch of conference play.

The Bearcats will be back in action this week with two key road matchups. On Friday, October 3, SBU travels to face the University of Indianapolis, followed by a Sunday matchup on October 5 against Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois.

Both opponents are off to strong starts this season, with Indianapolis (receiving votes) and Lewis proving to be tough contenders in the conference. The Bearcats will need to be sharp on both ends of the field as they look to rise to the challenge.

This weekend provides SBU with an opportunity to test themselves against two of the GLVC's top-performing teams and to continue building on their recent success. A strong showing on the road would put the Bearcats in a great position heading into the heart of the season.
