Bolivar, Mo. – Both Bearcat tennis teams earned ITA Scholar All-Academic Team Awards as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). This award is given to those teams that had a grade point average of 3.2 or higher during the 2024-25 school year with all of their eligible NCAA Athletes.
 
The women's team finished with a 3.9 GPA the highest out of all teams in the GLVC and one of the highest in the Nation. This is largely due to their entire team earning an ITA Scholar Athlete Award, given to those that have a GPA of 3.5 or higher. These student-athletes include Ally Bowser, Defne Ursan, Giselle Garcia, Leticia Luiz, Maria Clara Zotti, Paula Ballesteros, and Polina Paunova.
 
On the guys side, the men had the second highest GPA of all male teams at SBU earning this academic award. As well, three individuals also earned the ITA Scholar Athlete Award including Alejandro Bravo, Alex Crawford, and Bojan Radoman.
