Indianapolis, Ind. – On Tuesday afternoon, the GLVC announced the student-athletes that garnered an Academic All-GLVC Award for the 2024-25 season, where SBU had a record number 231 Bearcats claim the award. This is given to the student-athletes who met a cumulative GPA of 3.30 over the academic year.
 
Women's tennis had all seven of their student-athletes acquire the Academic Award to go along with their team 3.90 GPA. Six Bearcat teams had a team high number of athletes earn the award since joining the GLVC. This includes baseball (22), football (40), men's track & field (23), softball (21), women's track & field (29), and women's volleyball (21).
